This manual is a supplement to the formal manual created and supplied by Aqua Engineering, the designers of the Sewer Pump Station (SPS).  It is intended that this supplement simply explain, using photos, how the SPS operates.  By understanding the various components of the SPS and what each of them do, hopefully any operating problems can be more easily resolved.

PANIOLO HALE SEWER PUMP STATION

There are two main components of the SPS:

1.         The Wetwell                                                      2.The Control Panel

Secondary components are:

 

3.   Emergency Operation Standpipe        4.  Overflow (holding) Tank         5.  Emergency Generator

To understand the whole operation of the SPS, let’s first forget about the Secondary components, and concentrate on the two Main components.  If you thoroughly understand the operation of the Wetwell and the Control Panel, the others components will be easy.
