Open the Main Panel by sliding the latches outward.  Let’s see what’s inside:

Hour Meters and Counters

Pump #1              Pump #2

The Hour Meters count the number of hours the pumps have run.  The Counters indicate how many times the pumps have started.

   Remember in the discussion about the Wetwell, it was explained that the Control Panel alternates Pump #1 and Pump #2 to be the “first pump”?  These indicators should show that Pump #1 has started about the same number of times and run about the same number of hours as Pump #2.  They do not have to be exact, but they should be similar.  If they are not similar, something is wrong with the control circuitry and an electrician should be called to evaluate the problem.
