OK, now let’s look at a close-up of
the bottom of the Control Panel: |
|
Amber light is ON whenever the panel
delivers power to Pump #1 or Pump #2.
If the Disconnect Switch
(explained later) is closed,
the pump should be RUNNING. Pump #1 Pump #2 |
|
Amber light is ON whenever the panel
delivers power to Pump #3. If the
Disconnect Switch (explained
later) is closed, the pump should be RUNNING.
Pump #3 is in the Overflow Tank.
This will be explained later. This light should NEVER be on, unless
there is an unusual condition. |

Seal Failure lights for each of the
three pumps |

|
Pump #1 Pump #2 These two switches are the
HAND-OFF-AUTO Switches for Pumps #1 and #2. The middle position is OFF. In this position, no power is delivered to
the pump, and it cannot run. The top position is HAND. When switched to this position, the pump
will run (if the Disconnect Switch is closed) regardless of the level in the
Wetwell. The bottom position is AUTO. This is the normal position that controls
the pumps by the level in the Wetwell.
The green float switches determine whether the pump is on or off. |
|
Wetwell Overflow Tank These two switches control the alarm
function by the position of the ALARM floats in the Wetwell and the Overflow
Tank.
The normal position is ON. The
OFF position prevents the alarm from sounding. The TEST position allows a momentary alarm
test |
|
This is the HAND-OFF-AUTO
switch for Pump #3 in the Overflow Tank.
Like the switches for Pumps #1 and #2, the float switches in the
Overflow Tank control the pumps in the AUTO position. The switch should be left in the AUTO
position |
