SCREEN COST SUPPLEMENT

The cost for the screen materials depends of course on the size of the lanai.

Small lanais are usually about 22’ wide, with two 11’ wide sections between the end walls and support posts.  Costs for the materials are as follows:

Frame (6 pieces, each 16’10” long)                            $200

Screen (1/4 of a 100’ roll)                                              50

Spline (1/12 of a 1000’ roll)                                             4

Corners to be inserted into the frame pieces               16

Shipping                                                                          45

Total                                                                            $315

Large wraparound lanais usually have nine sections between posts which are 8-9’ apart.  As long as the sections are not greater than 9’, only 2 pieces of 16’10” frame are needed for each section.  Costs for these materials are as follows:

Frame (18 pieces, each 16’10” long)                          $600

Screen (1 roll)                                                               200

Spline (1/3 of a 1000’ roll)                                             15

Corners to be inserted into the frame pieces              75

Shipping                                                                        125

Total                                                                          $1015

Lanais that are in between the above sizes may require less than the large lanai materials.  Measure the width between posts and count the number of sections between posts.  A more exact cost can then be calculated.
